The DiGiGrid MGO is an interface that allows Optical MADI-compatible devices to be connected to the SoundGrid system. Equipped with two MADI terminals, a single unit can input and output up to 128 channels (44.1/48kHz). Long-distance transmission of up to 75m is possible using a standard Ethernet cable.
■MADI-SoundGrid Interface
The compact and portable DiGiGrid MGO interface connects any optical MADI-enabled device to Waves' networking and processing platform, SoundGrid, enabling recording, effects processing, and playback of up to 128 audio channels. It connects to a SoundGrid DSP server running literally hundreds of Waves and third-party plug-ins with incredibly low latency of just 0.8 milliseconds. You can even record to two computers simultaneously: one for virtual soundcheck and another for backup. With the MGO and a SoundGrid DSP server like the DiGiGrid DGS, you can instantly view your next show setup on your laptop, whether you're on a tour bus, in a hotel room, or at the airport.
The DiGiGrid MGO MADI-to-SoundGrid interface connects you to this real-time, low-latency networking and processing platform with just a single Ethernet cable.
