RedNet A16Rは、Danteネットワークに対応した、冗長電源搭載の16チャンネルAD/DAコンバーター。119dBものダイナミックレンジを備え、2チャンネルのAES/EBUデジタル入出力を装備。

■ AD / DA converter

RedNet A16R is Focusrite's 1U rack Dante compatible interface. Equipped with network function and redundant power supply, it has 16 channels of analog input / output. RedNet A16R provides up to 192kHz / 24-bit AD / DA conversion with a dynamic range of 119dB, and supports input / output from the Dante network along with two channels of AES / EBU digital I / O.

RedNet A16R can select 44.1, 48, 88.2, 96, 176.4, 192kHz / 24-bit sample rate conversion with remote control, including pull-up / pull-down function. AES59-specific DB25 connector provides balanced analog input and output. The input / output reference level can be set to 0dBFS = + 18dBu or + 24dBu. It also has a 2-channel AES / EBU input / output with XLR connection, and supports sample rate conversion at the input stage. The reference level and sample rate can be changed from the control software on the host computer. The clock source supports internal clock, external word clock, DARS (XLR input), and can output word clock.

Redundancy of network and power supply is another feature of RedNet A16R. It has two independent universal PSUs (100-240V) with IEC connectors with clips and two locking etherCON network interfaces. These port settings can be switched remotely to Redundant or Switched (daisy chain).
