The Scarlett OctoPre features 8 channels of 2nd generation Scarlett mic-to-balanced line inputs and supports 24-bit up to 192kHz conversion and 109dB dynamic range.

The Scarlett OctoPre handles high-powered guitar pickups with high headroom and has two front panel instrument inputs for easy access.

◎ Abundant headroom and input pad
All inputs of the Scarlett OctoPre have high headroom. In addition, each input channel is equipped with a PAD switch, making it possible to properly track any input such as guitar, keyboard, vocals and drums.

◎ Output corresponding to stand-alone
The eight balanced line outputs, which directly source the input, are also available for applications such as recording to a DAW via digital ADAT output while using the Scarlett OctoPre live.

・ What is ADAT?
ADAT is a simple and easy way to extend the analog input. ADAT transmits up to eight channels of audio using inexpensive optical cables. Just connect the "ADAT output" of OctoPre to the "ADAT input" of the audio interface and set the sample rate and clock source to expand the input / output of the audio interface. ADAT input is available on many Focusrite and third-party interfaces.
