C-Guard can prevent discoloration and deodorize silver products by simply placing them in the instrument case. Silver oxide in the special fiber causes an ionic reaction with sulfuric odor substances in the air, quickly drawing the causative substance into the fiber and preventing discoloration of the silver.

銀メッキのフルートを持っていると、経年劣化による表面のくすみや黒ずみが気になります。この布は楽器の上に乗せてケースに入れておくだけで変色を防ぎ、銀メッキの美しさを保つことができる優れものです。もちろん管体が銀製のフルートでも効果があります。楽器は購入してからも手入れを念入りに行っていれば長く使えます。見た目もきれいに使い続けたいですね。
