*1 There are two types of AC adapters: switching and transformer. The products we handle are transformer types. Switching types maintain a constant output voltage even when no load is present. However, transformer types generally apply a rated voltage (100V in Japan) to the AC plug and are designed to guarantee the rated voltage when a rated current flows through the DC (or AC) output. This results in excess voltage when no load is present.


Therefore, if the power consumption of your device differs significantly from the rated power of the AC adapter, overvoltage may occur, potentially causing equipment damage.
