This condenser microphone can be mounted directly on the rim of a snare or tom. Its high-input design, capable of handling a maximum sound pressure level of 159 dB, delivers low-distortion sound. Its unidirectional pattern blocks unwanted sounds from the rear and sides. It can also be switched to hypercardioid or omnidirectional with an interchangeable unit.
