YAMAHA's Recording Custom Stainless Steel Snare Drums are 14""x5.5"". These snare drums feature stainless steel shells. They combine elegance and lightness with a tight, cohesive sound. A classic metal snare drum model.

14"×5.5"モデルには、コントロール性に優れた20本タイプのワイヤーを、14"×7"モデルには、パワフルなサウンドを生み出す25本タイプのワイヤーを採用しています。また、14"×5.5"モデルには、スティーブ・ガッドのリクエストにより、繊細かつ明快なサウンドを発揮する10本タイプのワイヤーをオプションとして同梱しています。
センタービード

スティーブ・ガッドのリクエストにより、Recording Customのメタルシェルには中央部にアウトビード（凸型）を採用しています。よりオープンでパワー感のあるサウンドを実現しつつ、音量やシェルの共振を適切にコントロールすることで、幅広いサウンドメイクを可能にしています。

■Features an out-center bead.
Controls volume and shell resonance while maintaining a powerful, attacking sound. Achieves a wide range of sound shaping and control.

■Features a Q-type strainer, also used in the Live Custom and Absolute Hybrid Maple. It provides stability when on and off, and allows for easy snare replacement and adjustments during performance.

■Features 20 wires for maximum control.

■Includes a 10-wire strainer, requested by Steve Gadd. It produces a delicate yet crisp sound.
