Controls volume and shell resonance while maintaining a powerful, attacking sound. Achieves a wide range of sound shaping and control.

■Features a Q-type strainer, also used in the Live Custom and Absolute Hybrid Maple. It provides stability when on and off, and allows for easy snare replacement and adjustments during performance.

■Features 20 wires for maximum control.

■Includes a 10-wire strainer, requested by Steve Gadd. It produces a delicate yet crisp sound.
