EXC Overview (Excellent Cryo Treatment)
Excellent Cryo Treatment (EXC) was developed by SQI, a leading Japanese heat treatment specialist renowned for its deep expertise in ultra-subzero processing, with the goal of ""improving sound quality."" Montreux, Inc., now has technology licensed from SQI (Sound Quality i Inc.), and is now launching a new product. Through extensive research into the cooling process (removing heat from components), settling process (permitting atomic movement), and slow-cooling process (returning from cryogenic temperatures to room temperature), as well as temperature range research and refinement of temperature control techniques, we have succeeded in achieving superior sound quality with exceptional clarity, resolution, and realism. Furthermore, precise ordering, ""molecular realignment and removal of impurities,"" results in a natural midrange and a solid bass range. Although EXC is more cost-effective, due to the need to treat delicate audio products, it uses a rare gas method rather than the commonly used liquid method. This makes it possible to apply cryogenic treatment not only to metals such as steel and non-ferrous metals (aluminum, copper, etc.), but also to organic materials such as resin. Furthermore, all processes are computer-controlled to maintain consistent quality.
