■Comment: Splash was developed with Peter Erskine, a drummer and educator. The cup part, which is the most distinctive feature, has a brilliant finish with no lasing.
This creates a bright sound, and the splash responds beautifully to both soft and strong hits.
The rich sound created by the slightly thicker cup and thinner edges has a slightly longer sustain than the regular A Splash.
