CORE is a channel strip that combines a Class A high-voltage tube microphone preamp with an ELOP compressor.

■Channel Strip

This innovative channel strip incorporates 25 years of Maley Labs technology. Beneath the intuitive front panel are musically beneficial circuitry designed to allow musicians to focus on their performance, not the controls.

Front Panel Controls
- 48V phantom power switch
- 120Hz high-pass filter switch
- Phase reverse switch
- Input attenuator (variable pad)
- Mic preselectable gain: 40dB or 60dB
- Line amp selectable gain: 20dB or 40dB

◎ 1/4"" direct input
Manley Like the SLAM! DI, it features 10MΩ input impedance. The all-discrete, solid-state circuitry is ideal for guitar, bass, keyboards, and more.

Compressor
- Employs ELOP technology, the same technology used in the famous Manley VOXBOX.
- The compressor is placed before the mic preamp, preventing distortion in the mic preamp section.
- Operates at a 3:1 ratio.
- Includes a silent bypass switch.

Equalizer
- Adjusts low and high Baxandall shelving with a ±12dB range. (80Hz and 12kHz)
- Midrange bell EQ (100Hz to 1kHz) or (1kHz to 10kHz) with a ±10dB sweep range

Limiter
- Fast-attack FET ""brickwall"" limiter
- Continuously variable threshold and release controls
- Peak limit LED indicator
- 10dB range output gain control

Meter
- Large analog display with LED
- 3-way meter select switch indicates ""Compressor Gain Reduction,"" ""Micre Output Level,"" and ""Main Output"" audio levels.
