WesAudio _DIONE is an analog-circuit compressor (API500-compatible module) that can be digitally controlled from an AAX/VST2/VST3/AU plug-in.
It recreates the classic SSL BUS compressor design with the highest-quality components. It also supports parallel compression via the MIX control, and the Saturation mode allows you to manipulate analog harmonics. _DIONE supports the GCon protocol via USB, allowing you to control and recall the unit's analog circuitry from a USB-connected plug-in, or remotely control the plug-in from the hardware. This NG500 (New Generation 500) series compressor offers new possibilities.
