EQ4 Mastering is a 6-band dual-channel mastering equalizer with Air Band.
It features true bypass and transparent attenuators, and step-type controls for easy recall.
In 1993, Cliff Maag released the first AIR BAND with the full-body model ""EQ3."" The EQ3, a dual-channel, 6-band EQ, quickly became known as the most musical EQ ever.
Now, more than 20 years after the EQ3, the EQ4 Mastering has been reborn as a more powerful, more headroom-rich, and easier-to-use EQ.
More Power
The EQ4 Mastering operates on a clean +-18V rail, so unlike the API EQ4 module, no additional chassis or power adapter is required.
More Headroom
More power means more headroom.
The EQ4 Mastering provides up to +29dBu headroom, compared to the EQ4's +27dBu.
More Control
The EQ4 Mastering features a transparent attenuator and true bypass, adds a new 15kHz band to the AIR BAND, and all controls are stepped for exceptional ease of use.
