The STT-C Stable-Tune Tremolo Kit Gold is an original SONIC tremolo unit developed with the utmost in tuning stability. Compared to conventional tremolo units, the length from the mounting hole to the tip has been shortened to within 1/100mm, preventing misalignment between the unit and the screws when the arm is lowered. This ensures that the unit is positioned the same before and after the arm is lowered. This improves tuning stability and, as a result, minimizes friction between the unit and the body.

Using a tremolo can cause tuning issues. The only way to completely eliminate this is to use a locking tremolo like a Floyd Rose. However, a Floyd Rose is bulky, string changes and tuning are a hassle, and retrofitting one requires extensive modifications to the guitar.
Even with conventional synchronized tremolos, with high-precision installation, proper adjustment, and a little technique on the part of the player, tuning stability was sufficient for practical use.
But I wasn't satisfied with that. No matter how correctly installed and adjusted, there was always some degree of tuning misalignment that remained, and this was due to a problem with the tremolo unit's design.
So, the only option was to create a tremolo unit that solved this problem! And so we did.
