The name ""Minmin"" comes from ""everyone's folk instrument.""
We named it ""Minmin"" with the hope that many people who have been put off by instruments due to their perceived difficulty or expense will be able to experience the joy of playing an instrument.

Simply put, the Minmin is a hybrid of a guitar and a shamisen. While it has three strings, the fingerboard is fretted, making it easy to find tune and allowing for chord playing.

The body structure, with the neck and body carved out as a single piece, produces a powerful sound that is unexpected from its small, slim, and thin appearance. It's perfect for solo play or to make a statement when playing with other instruments in a band.
