The TMF-08-R is an 8-channel MIDI fader unit optimized for the fader curve and design of Roland's 8-channel recorder and mixer, the R-88.
The fader has a long stroke of 100mm and adjusts the R-88's input and mix levels. The durable all-steel housing and locking XLR MIDI connectors are designed with the R-88's outdoor needs in mind.
Note that the optional Roland USB MIDI interface ""UM-ONE mk2"" is required to connect the R-88 to this unit. If desired, the specifications can be changed (MIDI messages changed) at the time of shipment to a general-purpose mode that functions as an expansion fader for a digital mixer (M series, DM series, etc.) or DAW, etc.
