■The Hybrid Exotic snare drum is a model created by challenging ourselves with new materials. This original Pearl design features fiberglass affixed to the inner surface of a 6-ply Kapur shell (7.5 mm). This model offers a warmer sustain than maple, and the exquisite combination of the attack created by the fiberglass delivers a truly hybrid sound.
■Spin-Tight Tension Rods: Spin-Tight Tension Bolts (PAT. PENDING)
Newly developed tension bolts prevent loosening during performance. After tuning, simply tighten the small red screw at the top of the tension bolt with a dedicated key to completely prevent loosening. Even power hitters can concentrate on playing with peace of mind.
■Glide-Lock Strainer: Glide-Lock Strainer (US.PAT.7220905 / 7301087 / 7365256)
The Glide-Lock Strainer features a mechanism that completely locks the snare in the ""ON"" position. Fine-tuning the tension is possible with the knob on the butt, while preventing loosening during performance. An internal cam also ensures extremely quiet and smooth operation.
