For over 40 years, electric rhythm machines have supported the foundation of music (drums) around the world with their bold, distinctive tones, from classic pop and black music to dance music centered around techno, electro, and house. This is the largest drum sound library ever, featuring a collection of over 150 electronic drums and percussion instruments.

The lineup not only covers the familiar ROLAND TR series, but also nearly all of the classic drum sounds from LINN, ALESIS, YAMAHA, and SEQUENTIAL CIRCUITS. What's even more noteworthy is the number of ""rare"" machines currently difficult to obtain. Examples include highly acclaimed effects makers like ELECTRO-HARMONIX and UNIVOX, as well as MAESTRO, the creator of the ultimate tape echo instrument, and renowned electric keyboard makers WURLITZER, HOHNER, HAMMOND, and FARFISA. This sound source also brings together sounds from various eras that shaped electronic instruments, from machines by Sony, Suzuki, and Denon that launched during the golden age of Made in Japan.

But that's not all. Drums OverKill also includes a total of over 27,000 sounds and 1,200 drum kits, including distinctive drum kits for each musical style, acoustic drum sets, percussion sets featuring percussion instruments from around the world, and sound effects kits.

This is a comprehensive drum sound source that is recognized by everyone, with a focus on electronic drum sounds.

This product is an update of the original DRUMS OVERKILL engine (KONTAKT PLAYER 2) to KONTAKT 5 PLAYER. (The content is the same as the previous ""DRUMS OVERKILL"")
