This handmade condenser microphone is ideal for a variety of applications, including recording acoustic guitars, guitar amplifiers, drums, and other instruments, as well as vocal and choral ensembles. Its precision-crafted stainless steel body ensures exceptional durability. The amplifier at the heart of the C42 is a fully balanced, discrete, Class A differential circuit with selected FETs and OTL specifications.

～ About dealer repair services ～

Josephson microphones are produced and repaired by a small team of people. After repairs are completed, final testing is performed using specialized equipment at the company's Santa Cruz workshop to ensure 100% performance as a Josephson microphone. As a manufacturer policy, repairs and testing outside of the company's own workshop are not permitted.

For this reason, if a Josephson microphone requires repair or adjustment, it will be repaired by the manufacturer in person at the workshop in the United States and undergo rigorous testing before being returned.

For non-warranty repairs, shipping costs will be charged in addition to the repair fee.
Repairs take approximately one to three months.
