The PS-9280-C0 is a 3.25mm wide String Saver saddle for acoustic guitars. String Saver releases Teflon micromolecules as the string vibrates, minimizing string friction and minimizing tuning errors. This produces a deeper, more defined tone and ultimately improves sustain.

String Saver dramatically improves string breakage resistance and sustain compared to metal saddles.
String Saver creates a thin Teflon film as the string moves and vibrates against the saddle. This acts as a lubricant, preventing the string from becoming too tight against the saddle and spreading the stress that tends to be concentrated at one point over a wider area. This reduces string breakage. String Saver saddles produce a deep, crisp sound, reminiscent of vintage steel saddles, resulting in improved sustain.
