This dynamic microphone is manufactured by TELEFUNKEN. It is suitable for vocals, drums, percussion, and other instruments. Like the ""M80"" model, it offers proximity effect, feedback prevention, and a clear midrange. It is a short-sized model with an overall flat response.

The M81 dynamic microphone has a flat response, making it ideal for recording instruments.

- Compared to the M80, the M81 has a flatter response in the mid-to-high range, allowing for a wider range of applications with a wider range of sources by using it in conjunction with the M80.
- The M81, like the M80, offers proximity effect, feedback prevention, and clear midrange, while slightly suppressing high-frequency response for an overall flatter response.
It enhances the clarity and richness of vocals and guitars, while adding punch to percussion and horns.

The frequency response specially designed for the M81 is particularly well-suited for electric guitar, percussion, tom-toms, and brass instruments. The durable and versatile M81 is destined to set the standard for the future.


The gray finish body and gray chrome head grille are reminiscent of the Telefunken R-F-T AR-51, and its sonic direction is similarly aimed for.


The M81 was designed with the AR-51's frequency response in mind.

Note: The inner diameter of the microphone holder's threaded socket is 5/8 inch. A thread adapter is not included.
