The SONIC / POT ADAPTOR RING is a convenient pot adapter for when the mounting threads on your pots are smaller than the mounting holes on your guitar/bass. Currently, guitar/bass pots on the market come in three diameters: 7mm, 8mm, and 3/8 inch (approximately 9.5mm). The PA-02 comes with a set of three adapters that convert 7mm pots to 8mm.

Pot adapter rings are used to fit full-up pots and other pots to guitars.
Currently, commercially available guitar pots come in three mounting diameters: 7mm, 8mm, and 3/8 inch (approximately 9.5mm). Consequently, guitar mounting holes also come in these three sizes. If the mounting hole is smaller than the pot you're installing, you can simply enlarge it, but if the hole is larger, the pot won't fit snugly. Pot adapter rings are used in such cases to ensure the pot fits perfectly in the center of the hole. To install a 7mm pot in an 8mm hole, use the PA-02; to install a 7mm pot in a 3/8-inch hole, use the PA-03; and to install an 8mm pot in a 3/8-inch hole, use the PA-04. PA-01 comes with one of each size.
~How to Use~
Normally, use this on top instead of a flat washer.
Use the appropriate size for the area you'll be using it in.
- 7mm = Japanese-made small pot
- 8mm = Japanese-made large pot
- 3/8 inch (approx. 9.5mm) = American-made pot
