This is an optical MADI expansion board for the RME HDSPe MADI FX. It features all the functionality of the standard HDSPe MADI FX coaxial expansion board, including word clock input/output, MIDI, and D-Sub terminals for AES input/output. It replaces the coaxial MADI input/output with optical MADI input/output. Comes with a reassuring 3-year Sound House warranty!

OPTO-X is a MADI optical I/O expansion board that can be used as an alternative to the coaxial MADI I/O expansion board that comes standard with the HDSPe MADI FX card.
It provides all the functionality of the D-Sub connectors for word clock input/output, MIDI, and AES input/output that are included with the standard HDSPe MADI FX coaxial expansion board, replacing the coaxial MADI input/output with optical MADI input/output. This allows the HDPSe MADI FX to be equipped with three optical MADI I/O channels.
