~From the Manufacturer~
The OKM In-Ear Stereo Microphone from German company Soundman is a binaural microphone (※1) that is worn in your ear and captures 360° sound.
The microphone itself supports plug-in power, so you can connect it directly to a portable MD or DAT device with the same functionality to easily record natural environmental sounds, lectures, live concerts, and more.
※1) Binaural Recording
A recording method in which microphones are attached to the ears of a dummy head. The recorded sound is then played back through headphones, delivering the sound heard by the dummy head directly to the listener's ears. This creates a realistic experience, as if the listener were actually there.
