UAD-2 SATELLITE is a FireWire connection type, and you can use the UAD plug-in even in an iMac or MacBook Pro environment. Like the PCIe type UAD-2, all products come standard with Analog Classics plug-ins (Teletronix LA-2A audio leveler, UA 1176LN/SE classic limiter, Pultec EQP-1A equalizer, RealVerb Pro room modeler, CS-1 channel strip).

*Requires MacOS 10.6.8 or later from UAD Version 6.2 released in April 2012
*Compatible with MacOS 10.8 Mountain Lion from UAD Version 6.3.1 released in September 2012
・Intel-based Macintosh computer
・The latest version of UAD plug-in software is recommended
・Firewire 800 or Firewire 400 free port
・2GB or more free hard disk space
・High resolution monitor over 1024 x 800
・CD-ROM drive or Internet connection environment (for software installation)
・Internet connection environment (for product registration and purchase of additional plug-ins)
・Host application running VST, AU, RTAS plug-ins

*Does not work on PowerPC-based Macintosh computers.
*As of September 2012, the UAD plug-in is a 32-bit native application. It can be installed in a 64-bit OS environment, but only for DAWs that can use 32-bit plug-ins.
*Additional purchases of each plug-in must be made directly from the Universal Audio website. Settle with the voucher or credit card that came with your product. You can try all the plugins as a 14-day limited demo before you buy.
*An internet connection is required to activate the product and purchase the plug-in.
