■iRig MIC Cast is small enough to fit in your pocket, but it's packed with features necessary for clear audio capture. Unlike the built-in microphones on iOS devices, which are designed to pick up sound from all directions, this unidirectional capsule focuses the sound directly in front of the microphone, minimizing ambient noise.

■iRig MIC Cast also features a stereo mini headphone output, allowing you to monitor the sound being recorded.

■iRig MIC Cast also features an input gain switch. Select the mode that best suits your target, whether it's a loud sound nearby or a quiet sound far away.

■The included desktop stand allows you to place your iPhone or iPod touch upright on a table. It's easy to use; simply place the stand, place your iOS device on top, and press the record button.
