Both the single and humbucking pickups feature Alnico V magnets. They produce a clear, articulate sound that doesn't get lost in an ensemble.
The bridge humbucking pickup features a coil tap function. The tone knob allows you to instantly switch from humbucking to single pickup and single pickup to humbucking, even while playing, allowing you to create a wide range of sounds, from hard distortion to edgy single-coil sounds. Additionally, setting the pickup selector to position 4 automatically coil-taps the bridge pickup, providing the transparent half-tone of two single pickups.
