■SDX Expansion Sound Source

""SDX ROOTS - BRUSHES, RODS & MALLETS"" is an SDX expansion library featuring meticulously recorded brush, rod, and mallet drum sounds, focusing on ""JAZZ,"" the origin of the modern drum kit.

-Sound
The sound was recorded at Blackbird Studio in Nashville, USA. Drum sounds were captured using the best equipment selected from Blackbird Studio's stock of 1,400 microphones, 32 channels of Pultec equalizers, 24 channels of Fairchild compressors, and top-notch outboard gear from manufacturers such as Neve, API, RCA, Chandler, and Telefunken.

The drummer featured on the recording was world-renowned drummer Roy ""Futureman"" Wooten. From on-mic to off-mic, Roy ""Futureman"" Wooten's hit singles and swells have been meticulously captured.

・MIDI Grooves
Jazz grooves are particularly difficult to capture, as drummer Morgan Agre has included a wealth of MIDI groove files designed for performance with drum sounds and music production in host applications. Simply arranging grooves on MIDI tracks allows you to quickly and easily create drum tracks with a rich groove feel.

MIDI grooves are available for download from the MY PRODUCTS page on the TOONTRACK website (login required).
This MIDI groove collection is sold separately as ""ROOTS MIDI.""

Even if the computer on which you install this product does not have an Internet connection, authorization is possible from another computer that can connect.

*Superior Drummer 2.0 is required to use ""SDX ROOTS - STICKS."" Please note that it cannot be used with ""EZdrummer.""
