The FCH-TOM is compatible with a wide range of Gibson-style guitars equipped with a Tune-O-Matic bridge/stop bar tailpiece. Traditional TOM-type bridges do not allow for individual string height adjustment and only have two studs as contact points with the body. The FCH-TOM bridge not only allows for individual string height adjustment, but also ensures that the bottom of the bridge is always in close contact with the guitar body (using connecting shim plates where appropriate). This eliminates loss of sustain and vibration to the body. String height adjustment is achieved by rotating the center of the eCAM, raising and lowering the string height. The saddle does not tilt or wobble, allowing for precise string height adjustment with its bottom always in close contact with the base plate. Additionally, a screw is included to lock the saddle to the base plate, ensuring exceptional stability.
