This is a mounting hand grip for the RY-SOFTIE18 made by RYCOTE. It prevents noise caused by wind when recording outdoors.

The InVision Softy Liar Mount completely isolates handling and cable noise. This mount comes with a lightweight pistol grip handle. The suspension and handle combination provides a quick, simple, robust, and cost-effective shock mount for the harsh environments of modern ENG and location shoots.

The pistol grip also features a 3/8"" threaded fitting for use with boom poles for versatility.
