This MELLOTRON sample playback keyboard features sound samples taken from the master tapes of the vintage Mellotron keyboard. It features a wooden keyboard that perfectly recreates the feel of playing a Mellotron.

■Mellotron

The M4000D Digital Mellotron is a sample playback keyboard developed by Mellotron, a company based in Stockholm, Sweden. Mellotron reissued the tape playback Mellotron Mark VI in 1999 and released the Mellotron Mark VII in 2005. The M4000D Digital Mellotron prototype was unveiled at the 2010 NAMM Show and Musik Messe, where it was met with great interest and anticipation.

After repeated testing and refinements by many renowned artists, the M4000D was finally released in 2011. Enjoy the high-quality Mellotron sound that only Mellotron, the original company with deep knowledge of the classic Mellotron, can provide.
