The industry-standard, highest-quality convolution reverb is now easier to use and more versatile.
■Plug-in
■Package Version
Audio-Ease's Altiverb 7 is a convolution reverb plug-in for Mac OS X. For example, run a vocal track through Altiverb. The result is astonishing realism, making it sound as if the song is coming from a famous concert hall or theater. Convolution reverb is a sound effect that uses the reflections and acoustic characteristics recorded from an actual space as reverb.
Since its release in 2001, Altiverb's spatial reproduction capabilities have been among the highest in the world, and the variety of recorded spaces is diverse, ranging from the Sydney Opera House to the cockpit of a jumbo jet.
In addition to famous halls, theaters, and recording studios, a wide variety of reverbs are available. The acoustic characteristics of actual spaces and equipment have been recorded, including cathedrals, churches, stadiums, offices, the inside of cars (including Fiat, Ford, Mitsubishi, and many others), kitchens, bathrooms, parks, outdoors, forests, caves, classic vintage reverb units (including the L480, L224, RE201, and many others), metal and spring reverbs, piano soundboards, inside vases, the next room, and the room on the second floor.
You can also fine-tune your settings using a wide range of parameters, including EQ and 3-band dump. You can even adjust the location of instruments on a hall stage.
Supports sampling frequencies up to 96 kHz. Supports mono and stereo tracks.
