ACIDLAB's analog bassline machine. This sequencer, designed for live performance, can be synchronized via MIDI slave and DIN SYNC (SYNC24) master/slave. It's available in silver.

■Analog Bassline Machine

Acidlab Bassline3 is an analog bassline machine that uses tone generator circuitry equivalent to the Roland TB-303. While retaining the sound and built-in sequencer of Bassline2, it adds scale programming for each pattern, shuffle programming, and MIDI sound generation mode. The sequencer, specialized for live performance, can be synchronized via MIDI slave and DIN SYNC (SYNC24) master/slave. Play basslines in real time while syncing with MIDI-compatible sequencers, rhythm machines, and vintage rhythm machines equipped with DIN SYNC (SYNC24).

■Key Features

-Scale Programming
The two-stage sequence step length switch that controlled clock division when using external sync has been eliminated, allowing scale programming for each pattern.

-Shuffle Programming
A pattern shuffle function has been added for eighth and sixteenth notes. The shuffle intensity can be adjusted in three stages.

MIDI Sound Source Mode
A MIDI mode has been added, allowing Bassline3 to be used as a MIDI sound source and a simple MIDI to CV/Gate converter. It can be played using external MIDI note information, with slides controlled by playing legato notes and accents controlled by sending MIDI messages with a velocity of 101 or higher. The input MIDI note information controls the internal sound source and is also converted into CV/Gate signals, which are output from the CV Out and Gate Out jacks on the rear panel, respectively. It can be connected to other synthesizers with CV/Gate inputs and controlled via MIDI.
