■Digital Audio Recorder

High versatility is achieved by using not only CompactFlash (CF) media, which is highly reliable and commonly used in broadcasting stations due to its hidden contacts, but also widely available SD/SDHC cards and USB memory. These solid-state media recorders not only ensure high reliability because they do not have a rotating mechanism, but also significantly reduce the maintenance costs and effort required with rotating media.

They can be used to create highly reliable sound systems for recording purposes such as conference minutes, courts, and government offices, as well as professional audio facilities such as broadcasting stations and PA/SR. They are also ideal for replacing existing playback systems in fitness studios and banquet rooms.

Furthermore, by connecting the optional RC-20, a 20-point flash start system can be created, convenient for playing standard sound sources such as in theater and wedding staging and chime systems. All three models are compatible with the RC-20.

The SS-CDR200 incorporates both solid-state media and a CD recorder, all in a space-efficient 1U rack-mount size. In addition to XLR/RCA analog and COAXIAL digital inputs and outputs, it also features an RS-232C/PARALLEL terminal for control from external devices.

File copying from solid-state media to CD-R and vice versa
You can copy both WAV and MP3 files from CompactFlash cards, SD/SDHC cards, and USB memory to CD-R/CD-RW.
You can also copy files from CD-R/CD-RW to solid-state media. When writing, you can choose between audio CD format (CD-DA) or data CD format. You can also burn MP3 files to an audio CD.
