■ Option Card

This option card enables the Aurora series to function as a USB 2.0 audio interface, allowing it to be used with USB 2.0-compatible computers.
The USB connection replaces FireWire, which has become less common recently, and it can be used with most Windows and Mac computers. It supports a wide bandwidth, supporting up to 8 channels of input and output at a sampling rate of 192 kHz, and up to 16 channels (Aurora16 only) at a sampling rate of 96 kHz.
