The PQL-6010-00 is a Gibson-style TUSQ XL nut with slots. TUSQ XL releases Teflon micromolecules as the string vibrates, minimizing string friction and minimizing tuning drift. This results in crystal-clear tone and improved sustain.

The TUSQ XL series maintains accurate tuning for longer than any other synthetic resin nut, such as graphite or plastic. It also produces a crystal-clear tone, resulting in improved sustain. TUSQ XL's reliability is evidenced by its use by guitar manufacturers worldwide.
When the string vibrates, TUSQ XL releases Teflon micromolecules. These molecules coat the TUSQ XL, minimizing string friction and reducing tuning drift. These Teflon molecules are released from the nut, so they never disappear or get lost, and their lubricating effect is always maintained.
