MOTU / MasterWorks Collection

The MasterWorks Collection is a plug-in bundle from MOTU. It includes three plug-ins: MasterWorks EQ, MasterWorks Lelever, and ProVerb. It can be used with Mac OS X host applications other than Digital Performer.

■Plug-in Bundle

A Mac OS X-exclusive editing and mastering plug-in bundle that can be used with many host applications, including Ableton Live and Pro Tools.

The MasterWorks series of plug-ins, which have been used in numerous recording and mastering projects for Digital Performer, have been released in response to numerous requests as a plug-in bundle for VST, RTAS, and AU. This means that they can now be used with Mac OS X host applications other than Digital Performer, including Ableton Live and Pro Tools. The MasterWorks Collection bundle includes three plug-ins: MasterWorks EQ, MasterWorks Lelever, and ProVerb.

MasterWorks EQ
MasterWorks EQ is a 5-band parametric equalizer that simulates the sound of an analog British console.

MasterWorks Leveler
MasterWorks Leveler faithfully reproduces the unique automatic gain control (AGC) used in the legendary Teletronix LA-2A.

ProVerb
ProVerb is a convolution reverb that is highly CPU-efficient and delivers a realistic sound field, making it effective in any mix.

""Convolution"" is a reverb that recreates an extremely realistic space by sampling and analyzing the actual space and using that data as ""impulse"" data.
