This compressor from elysia offers a wide range of creative sounds. It features two linkable channels, each with its own AutoFast function.

■Creative Compressor
elysia's mpressor is a new tool for creative dynamics processing. In addition to tried-and-tested fundamentals, this creative compressor offers punchy control, rich character, and a variety of features for creating thick, freaky sounds with extreme settings. It's ideal for standard tracking, as well as groovy compression effects and creative sound design.

The two channels can be linked. Each channel features an AutoFast function, allowing for natural, fast compression without distortion. The anti-log circuitry also enables intense compression effects such as pumping and breathing. Furthermore, the mpressor's true feed-forward design allows for a negative ratio, enabling extreme over-compression. The mpressor's Niveau filter allows for continuous frequency shifting, allowing for subtle or dramatic changes to the character of your track. A new gain reduction limiter allows for maximum gain reduction, as needed. An external sidechain input provides additional flexibility in compression behavior.

The mpressor's electronics are based on a completely discrete analog design. All signal processing is performed by single transistors, always in Class A mode. The sidechain and power supply also use discrete circuits. Other high-quality features include oversized power transformers, small conductive plastic potentiometers, internal temperature stabilizers, and a special current feedback amplifier. The combination of these elements ensures the mpressor delivers the highest signal quality and a clean, powerful sound character, even when using extreme compression effects.

100% Discrete Analog
In line with elysia's design philosophy, all audio circuits in the mpressor are Class A discrete, with no integrated circuits used.

・Auto Fast Function
Switchable attack/release characteristics for semi-automation. This convenient feature responds only to fast signals, based on a user-defined value.

・Anti-log Release Characteristics
This new release characteristic features an antilogarithmic curve, which differs from the typical linear release characteristic, allowing for clearer, more discernible effects.

・Negative Ratio
The compression characteristic curve is curved and decays! This allows for a variety of compression effects, from intense pumping to sounds that sound as if they're being played backwards.

・Niveau Filter
Like the alpha compressor, the mpressor features the Niveau Filter, enabling even more powerful sound shaping for a more creative approach.

・External Sidechain Input
Want to control compression based on specific frequencies or accentuate your groove? The possibilities are endless with an external sidechain!

・Gain Reduction Limiter
elysia's unique gain reduction limiter is not part of the standard audio circuitry; it limits the compressor's control voltage (maximum gain reduction).

・Analog Dynamic LED Meter
In addition to increasing and decreasing the LED meter, the LED brightness changes depending on the amount of reduction, allowing you to continuously and smoothly monitor compression activity.

・Transconductance Amplifier
elysia's custom-designed mpressor's discrete gain reduction cell delivers low noise, extremely fast time parameter settings, and a powerful, punchy sound.

・T12 Heater System
This system maintains a stable temperature for the delicate elements of the discrete circuit, preventing unstable operation.
