This is a SoundGrid interface card from WAVES that enables Waves plug-ins to be used on Yamaha mixing consoles.
■Waves SoundGrid Interface Card
Waves plug-ins work with Yamaha digital consoles
The WSG-Y16 V3 features Waves SoundGrid technology, enabling Waves plug-ins on Yamaha mixing consoles. Connecting a mixing console equipped with the WSG-Y16 to a Mac or PC with a dedicated SoundGrid server and MultiRack SoundGrid installed via a network switch enables low-latency 16-channel audio processing using Waves and third-party SoundGrid-compatible plug-ins. The WSG-Y16 V3 also supports Clock Sync over Ethernet, enabling multi-console synchronization and digital splitting.

About What is SoundGrid?
Waves SoundGrid is an Ethernet-based plug-in processing system developed by Waves. Using a general-purpose server or network switch allows for a low-cost system to be built, and by dedicating the server to plug-in processing, multiple high-performance plug-in effects can be used simultaneously with low latency.
