The cable is made in Japan, both in materials and manufacturing. This oxygen-free copper (OFC) cable delivers a punchy, straight, and warm sound. It features 20 0.12mm diameter OFC (99.996% copper) core wires for each of the left and right channels, and for the hot and cold signals (see diagram below), and is covered with color-coded insulation (1.5mm diameter).

Audio signals are almost always sent and received via two stereo channels, an L channel and an R channel, so using a twin cable, which combines two cables into one, is easier to set up than using two separate cables. It's also very easy to see when swapping cables later, making the process very convenient.

If the L and R jacks are far apart, you can easily tear the cable by hand from the plug to the required length.
