見た目もシンプルなETYMOTIC RESEARCHエントリーモデルのmc3。
ダイナミック型ドライバーのタイトな鳴りっぷりと、エティモらしい高解像度な明るい高音を楽しめるコストパフォーマンスの高いイヤホン。

低音よりも高音のクリアさ、解像度を重視したい人にはぴったり。
低音は上位機種HFシリーズ、ERシリーズよりも少し量感が感じられるので、メリハリのあるポップスやロック系にも合うんじゃないでしょうか。ベースラインは一歩下がった位置からはっきりと聴こえるし、バスドラムは張りがあって気持ちいいです。

中高音の繊細さは、HFシリーズ、ER4シリーズにやや劣るところはありますが、同等クラスの中ではトップクラス。
エントリークラスであってもETYMOTICらしさは十分に楽しめました。低音寄りのイヤホンを使っている人にも是非試してほしいです。イヤホンでここまで音が違うのかってびっくりすると思います。

遮音性は、十分過ぎるくらいあるので、周囲の音をほぼ完全にシャットアウトしてくれます。いつもの60％～80％くらいの音量でも十分。地下鉄や飛行機の中で騒音が気になる、なんていう人にもお勧めですよ。
