This is a vacuum tube microphone preamplifier manufactured by A DESIGNS. It is the successor to the MP-2. It uses a Cinemag input transformer to achieve low noise and high quality sound.

The MP-2A is a classic stereo-channel tube microphone preamp, succeeding its predecessor, the MP-2.
Like the MP-2, it's constructed entirely of tube circuits from input to output, further evolving the essence of the tube sound sought after in the world of pro audio.
New features include a -20dB pad switch, a tone selector with four sound options, and 60dB of gain, enabling it to fully utilize the performance of currently produced ribbon microphones.
Furthermore, it uses a Cinemag input transformer, essential for achieving that classic sound. Combined with the original output transformer, this delivers low noise and high-quality sound, making it a perfect match for high-performance, high-quality microphones.
Other features include both XLR and 6.3mm phone jack inputs, an analog mechanical VU meter, phantom and phase switches, and a line-level input jack.
The MP-1A handles every musical element with ease, whether on a live stage or in a recording studio.
