TUSQ nuts and saddles are designed to transfer string vibrations to the body most efficiently. The result is a rich, full-bodied sound, from crisp high notes to rich notes. It brings out the full acoustic resonance without loss, even down to the deepest bass notes. Its harmonic content is also far superior to bone, restoring the wonderful sound that would otherwise be lost due to other components. For acoustic guitars, maximum effect is achieved by having all three components: nut, saddle, and bridge pin.
