DPA / 5100

This mobile DPA surround microphone allows for quick plug-and-play setup. It can output six channels. It features five high-quality miniature microphones that are resistant to noise such as wind and have a wide dynamic range. It's also ideal for recording with the intention of downmixing to stereo or mono.

・The DPA5100 is a mobile surround microphone that easily enables 5.1 channel recording in a variety of situations, including baseball, golf, and soccer.
・Compact and lightweight (weighing just 500g) without sacrificing sound quality. Its rugged design allows it to be attached to a camera, microphone stand, or handgrip for reliable use even in bad weather.

- The camera is equipped with five high-quality miniature microphones (operated with phantom power at 48V) that are resistant to noise such as wind and have a wide dynamic range.

- The front (L/C/R) is equipped with three hybrid (unidirectional and omnidirectional) microphones that utilize the patented DiPMic (Directional Pressure Microphone) Interference Tube technology, and the rear (Ls/Rs) is equipped with two standard omnidirectional microphones.

- Each channel within the 5100 camera is separated by a baffle, allowing for six independent, spacious output channels. It is also ideal for recording with the intention of downmixing to stereo or mono. The LFE signal synthesized from the L/R channels has a 10dB gain reduction to match surround formats.
