PLATINUM SAMPLES / Jim Scott Rock Drums Vol 1&2 for BFD is a collection of expanded BFD2.1 sounds from the kit, studio, and engineers of the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

■BFD2.1 Expansion Sound Source

- This album features kits selected from Jim Scott's collection of classic drums from the 1950s-1970s that he owns at his studio (PLYRZ Studio). Recording was performed using a Neve 8048 console and analog outboard equipment.

- Additionally, at Sound City Studios, previously used by the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Tom Petty, and Nirvana, the drumming sounds of Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers) and Steve Ferrone (Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, Eric Clapton) were recorded using a Neve 8028 console.

- The drum sets included are all those actually played on albums by Robbie Robertson, the Dixie Chicks, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and the Barenaked Ladies.

- By taking advantage of the enhanced specifications in BFD 2.1, we've added articulations and mixer channels while reducing RAM load.
