- EASTWEST/QUANTUM LEAP PIANOS Gold Edition is a downsized version of the world-class acoustic grand piano sound source, EW/QL PIANOS, recorded at EASTWEST Studio, the ""Hall of Fame of Sound,"" while retaining the same quality.

- Each piano features the same multi-sampling and rich articulations as the higher-end PIANOS version, but this is a cost-effective, lightweight version that limits microphone positions to the most common stage settings.

Multiple Velocity Layers for Each Note
- PIANOS delivers unprecedented multi-layered sampling in unprecedented detail, bringing the piano to your desktop. Includes 10-18 sustain and pedal sustain, 8-12 repeats of the same note and repeats with pedal depressed, 5-8 soft pedal and soft pedal sustain, and 16 staccato notes. Pedal effects for all notes are also multi-velocity.

Articulation Control for Perfect Expression
- Each piano is programmed using the PLAY engine to capture a variety of articulations (different timbres and expressiveness resulting from different playing techniques).
