This is a reclining udu drum, developed by Frank Giorgini. The udu is a percussion instrument that originated in Nigeria. The bass sound is produced by striking the large hole in the shell, and rhythm is played on the surface with the palm or fingers. The pitch can be adjusted by adjusting the pressure on the top hole. Its low volume makes it ideal for indoor performances.

1111台座が小さい

私的には音色は気に入っていますが、思ってた以上に大きいな印象です。形状の割に台座が小さいので、叩いている内に口が地面についてしまい落ち着きません。（それでもいいのですが）
私はガタム（インドの壺）の台座を代わりに使っています。あと、弦楽器を弾く時の姿勢で演奏したりもします。
