EZX FUNK MASTERS is a unique drum sound library featuring recordings by two legendary funk drummers, Clyde Stubblefield and John ""Jab'o"" Starks.

Sound
This work features two drum sets by Clyde Stubblefield and John ""Jab'o"" Starks, recorded with modern, high-quality sound and divided into two presets. Rim shots, essential to funk, are recorded on the snare and each tom, and bell playing is also included on each cymbal. This simple drum set supports a wide range of performances.

MIDI Grooves
Their break/beat-heavy, looped grooves remain the foundation of hip-hop. Their grooves have had a profound influence on DJs and spawned a wealth of experimental and popular underground music. EZX FUNK MASTERS features a vast collection of these MIDI grooves.

Clyde Stubblefield & John ""Jab'o"" Starks
Clyde Stubblefield and John ""Jab'o"" Starks were the primary drummers for James Brown, the godfather of soul and funk. Fans and critics alike cite their time together in James Brown's band as the pinnacle of funk. His album ""Sex Machine"" is one of the most innovative, inspiring, and eccentric recordings ever recorded.
