~From the manufacturer's website~
This is a replica of the ""Short Skirt"" or ""Tall Boy"" control knob and the ""football""-shaped lever switch knob, which debuted in April 1954 and were only available on Stratocasters for a limited time until July of that year. Made from polystyrene commonly known as ""white bakelite.""
