audio technica / AT-LH13/OCC

This lightweight headshell features a Technihard surface treatment. The body is made of die-cast aluminum and weighs approximately 13g (excluding lead wires). The surface treatment on the aluminum headshell increases strength and durability, effectively suppressing unwanted vibrations that can degrade sound quality. The improved propagation efficiency improves response and produces a lustrous mid- and high-range sound. PCOCC lead wires (AT6101) are included.

With a micro-Vickers hardness rating of over 400, Technihard boasts a surface hardness comparable to that of sandpaper. It's a specially processed aluminum material developed using NASA technology. Its light weight and high sound propagation speed make it ideal for audio applications.

As a structural material for headshells, arm pipes, stabilizers, and other components, Technihard offers strength, durability, and high sound quality not found in standard anodized aluminum.
