LYNX STUDIO TECHNOLOGY / Lynx AES16-e is a 16-channel input/output AES/EBU audio interface from Lynx Studio Technology, a US company, that is compatible with the PCI Express bus. Comes with a reliable 3-year warranty from Sound House!

■Audio Interface

- Taking advantage of the PCI Express bus's 2.5 Gbit/s bidirectional transfer speed, and thanks to an optimized DMA engine, it delivers highly stable performance with ASIO, WDM, and CoreAudio drivers. It can be used in both Windows and Macintosh environments.

- ADAT input and output can be added with the optional LS-ADAT daughter board.

- Supports 16 (mono) channels of input and output, both single-wire and dual-wire, up to 24-bit/192 kHz, in AES/EBU format

CBL-AES1604
*Converts AES16e DB26 (D-Sub 26-pin) connectors to XLR connectors (8 inputs/8 outputs = 4 male XLRs/4 female XLRs + BNC for external clock), approximately 1.8m.

CBL-AES1605
*Converts AES16e DB26 (D-Sub 26-pin) connectors to Yamaha digital format DB25 (D-Sub 25-pin) connectors (8 inputs/8 outputs), approximately 3.5m. Also connects directly to the digital I/O of Lynx's AURORA 8/AURORA 16 AD/DA converters.
